Dr. Yazji is an Award-Winning Orthodontist with more than 22 years of experience.

Dr. Maria Eugenia Yazji obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, graduating in the top 5% of her class. She then completed an additional two years of orthodontics specialty training, obtaining a Master of Science in Orthodontics degree (MS) from Northwestern University.

It was during this residency that Dr. Yazji learned the special skills required to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. She is trained in the latest techniques and the most modern treatment philosophies that emphasize the preservation of all teeth. In addition, Dr Yazji is committed to keeping up with the current research and advances in orthodontics by taking numerous continuing education courses and reviewing the contemporary literature.

But even before that, Dr. Yazji was exposed to the dental field. Both of her parents are general dentists. Naturally, Dr. Yazji has shaped her practice into a patient-friendly, family-oriented, progressive environment.

Dr. Yazji is affiliated with such organizations as the American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the World Federation of Orthodontics, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, and the American Lingual Orthodontic Association-International.

Dr. Yazji has also been named an Invisalign Super Elite Premier Provider, placing her in the top 1% of Invisalign doctors in North America. Each year, Align Technology, Inc. – the inventor of Invisalign, a clear, removable method for straightening teeth without wires and brackets, will award Super Elite Preferred Provider status to a select group of Invisalign practitioners in the U.S. and Canada. To qualify, doctors must demonstrate an exceptional level of Invisalign experience and meet Invisalign clinical education requirements. Align Technology launched the Invisalign Premier program in 2005, making Dr. Maria Yazji one of the program's top members.
